Yes, just like any other Indy socket component can.  WinSock works very well
in a service environment.

Just use it the same way you would in a non-service project - drop the
TIdMappedPortTCP onto the service's DataModule at design-time, then assign
the desired event handlers and such, and then activate the TIdMappedPortTCP
in the service's OnStart event and deactivate it in the OnStop/OnShutdown
events.
