I guess what we're really asking is this:

Is there a goal date to formally release Indy 10? The reason I ask is that I
need Secure FTP for a commercial product, but my organization is reluctant
to release a product that is based upon a "beta" version of Indy. Yes, I am
sure that SFTP is probably stable, but that assurance won't do for the bean
counters. Besides, we use other Indy components from version 9 that are
still broken in Indy 10.

Please don't think that I'm rushing. I'm asking merely for planning
purposes. I am more than willing to wait and if I can free up some free
time, will try to contribute to the cause by at least fixing one of the
broken components.

So, does the time have some time frame it is shooting for?
