You won't be able to. There are no such default settings in the OS. Every
email program is separate and independant from each other as well as the OS.
Every email program stores its settings differently and uniquely. There is
no standard for such settings. If the user has a particular email program
installed, you can query its settings, but that is very program-specific.
On the other hand, if the user doesn't even have an email program installed,
there won't be any settings available at all, so user input will be the only
way to get the values.
