I hit a couple of problems when recompiling last night's developers
snapshot - last night, I downloaded from Fulgan's http connection (the
FTPs of Fulgan and Neillans did not show the usual Indy10 folders, but
that may just have been a result of the particular time I was updating
1) IdGlobal's WriteStringToStream gives a warning that LBytes might not
have been initialised, which looks like it might be valid.
2) Due to (good) rewrites in Indy, IdCoderTNEF won't compile because of
TIdStreamVCL. Changing those declarations from TIdStreamVCL to TStream
allows it to compile, but gives warnings of "Constructing instance of
'TStream' containing abstract method 'TStream.Read'" and the same for
Anyone who knows anything about me will realise that my attempts at
dealing with streams are pathetic. Can these issues be resolved?
