|Subject:||Socket is already connected error|

Win2k connecting to a FTP server via a dial up connection on a proxy
server. The Win2k machine has MS proxy client.
When I attempt to retrieve a file (non-passive), I get an exception
(Socket Error 10056 Socket is already connected) when the datachannel
is created and attempts to listen.
Can anyone explain what this actually means, and also how and when the
actual port number is allocated.
FWIW the connection works with filezilla. It also works with the
cmdline FTP program. I am SURE I should be able to use indy.
