Abort has never been properly implemented in Indy. This is because the FTP
protocol is based on Telnet, and as such uses Out-Of-Band data for handling
Abort sequences. Indy does not support OOB data.

There isn't any. Whatever you do on the client, the server will still be
out-of-sync. The only thing you can do is disconnect and reconnect.
