The only version of Indy that officially supports BCB is Indy 9, which is
restricted to 32-bit streams. This is because Indy 9 used Integer instead
of Int64 to keep track of stream progresses. Integer has a maximum value of
approx. 2GB. BCB6 has support for 64-bit streams, but only recent builds of
Indy 10 make full use of them. Earlier builds of Indy 10 are also
restricted to 32-bit streams. Unfortunately, Indy 10 does not officially
support BCB at this time, though you can find third-party install files
floating around online.
