No. That is not what the ASCIIFilter property is designed for. When True,
all it does is ensures that any received bytes are within the valid ASCII
range of values (0-127). Nothing else.
If you want to make sure that data gets transferred in binary mode, then you
need to set the TIdFTP's TransferType property to ftBinary before calling
BIN sent with PUT? posted by Jeff Miller on Tue, 28 Feb 2006
