FWIW, the error appears to reside in

[ procedure TIdIOHandler.ReadStream(AStream: TStream; AByteCount:
Int64;
  AReadUntilDisconnect: Boolean); ]

Also, with advance notice, I could provide a FTP server where this
error will easily surface.
