Hello,

I realize this subject was touched upon several weeks ago but I seem to have
run into a slightly different problem.

I have created a test app to read my email but am having no luck.

When I connect with  "POP3.IoHandler.Open;"  I get the following:

Resolving hostname (my host)
Connecting to (IP Address).
SSL status: "before/connect initialization"
SSL status: "before/connect initialization"
SSL status: "SSLv2/v3 write client hello A"
SSL status: "SSLv3 read server hello A"
SSL status: "SSLv3 read server certificate A"
SSL status: "SSLv3 read server done A"
SSL status: "SSLv3 write client key exchange A"
SSL status: "SSLv3 write change cipher spec A"
SSL status: "SSLv3 write finished A"
SSL status: "SSLv3 flush data"
SSL status: "SSLv3 read finished A"
SSL status: "SSL negotiation finished successfully"
SSL status: "SSL negotiation finished successfully"
Cipher: name = RC4-MD5; description = RC4-MD5                SSLv3 Kx=RSA
Au=RSA  Enc=RC4(128)  Mac=MD5
; bits = 128; version = TLSv1/SSLv3;

When I execute the code  "x := pop3.CheckMessages;"  I get an error saying
that BAYC1-PAPOP2 is not a valid integer. The only thing that changes from
time
to time in this error message is the last digit.

I would appreciate any help in understanding what is happening and why I
can't seem to get the POP3 component to work even though it seems that the
SSL handshaking seems to have succeeded.

Thanks.

Joe Gabriele
