Hi!

I have a little problem understanding how SASL works with Indy.

Currently I provide an "plain text login" option to my users. I want to
extend this to the more secure SASL method.

How should I implement this?
Is it sufficient to set "authentication method" to "atSASL" and Indy
will do the rest? Do I have to mess round with the different sasl
providers? (CRAM-MD5, PLAIN, LOGIN, etc..)? How does Indy know which
kind of SASL digestto use? Does the server tell Indy to use a specific
SASL digest? Can I set preferences? (like "Always use the strongest
encryption when possible")

Please give me advise :-)

Best regards,
