tidmessage.Subject is a property of type string ( = Ansistring).
The Ansi characterset has severe limitations, hence message subjects can
be encoded using a variety of character sets. During a conversion from or
to Ansi many characters will get lost if they aren't contained in the user's
Wouldn't it make more sense to change the type of property "Subject" into
a (Unicode) Widestring ? One could then perform transparent and lossless
conversions if the right encoding is set !
