Hello everybody,

I have a bit of a problem.
Here is the situation.

I'm working at a company who wants to store there email on a local exchange server, but do not want to use that local exchange server as primairy server.
Therefore i needed to make a POP3 Connector that actually forwards all new mail from the external mail server, to the local exchange server. (MS Exchange does not has this option).

The POP3 Connector program i wrote, connects to a external email server, checks if there are any new messages on that server (i keep an .txt file with email msg's id's), and if a message is a new one, it forwards it to the proper emailaddress via a SMTP object.

But sometimes, i do not have any idea why, the SMTP object refuses to send the email and returns the error:
"The method or operation is not implemented."

try
{
  smtpClient.Send(tempMsg);
  tempMsg.Clear();
  smtpClient.Disconnect();
}
catch(Exception excep)
{
  Print(excep.Message);
}

Does anyone has had this problem before or have any idea what it could be?
O yeah, i'm writing the program in C# with Visual Studio .NET 2005 on Windows 2K.

Thanks in advance!!

Greetings,
Rob M.
