Using Indy 10 and Delphi 7
I am sending mails using the SMTP client control under Russian Windows.
One of the words I am using is the Russian spelling for September (the rest
of the mail is in English). When I receive the mail (via MS Exchange server
running English Windows) the Russian text for September is shown with all
the wrong characters. My question is: Do I need to set any encoding
properties on the SMTP control to handle foreign characters ? When I place a
break point I can see the correct spelling being passed to the control.
